Nicholas is passionate about life’s adventures and has an eye for capturing them with his camera.

Growing up on the coastline of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, he spent most of his youth in the warm subtropical waters of the Indian Ocean. Thereafter, on the many epic mountain-bike trails around Stellenbosch during his university years. The sea and the mountain have always been sources of inspiration.

Since a young age, Nicholas has been drawn to photography as a medium to create, inspire, and document. He soon combined his passions and made it his mission statement to create compelling images of outdoor pursuits.

Besides photography, Nicholas has attained a BEng and MEng in Industrial Engineering from Stellenbosch University, as well as a MSc in Engineering Management from ESB Business School in Germany.
